Golar LNG Partners LP, a Norway vessel company, said it expects Pertamina, Indonesia?s state oil and gas company, to extend Golar Mazo?s existing contract to transport LNG to a north East Asian country.

The Golar Mazo vessel, which the company jointly owns with the CPC Corporation, transports LNG from Bontang, East Kalimantan, to Taiwan under an 18-year time charter with Pertamina. The existing contract will expire at the end of 2017.

Golar said Pertamina has options to extend the Golar Mazo charter contract for two additional periods of five years each.
