Gold the biggest contributor to Antam's revenue

State mining firm PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) said that gold was the biggest contributor to its revenue in the first semester of the year.
As stated in its financial report, the firm?s gold sales in the first six months period reached about Rp 2.8 trillion, up significantly from about Rp 1.8 trillion in the same period of last year.
President Director Tato Miraza told to Petromindo.com on Wednesday that the company sold 5,493 kilograms of gold or about 5.5 tons in the first semester.
The firm booked total sales of about Rp 6.1 trillion in the period, with nickel ore being the second largest revenue contributor (about Rp 1.9 trillion), followed by ferronickel (about Rp 1.1 trillion). The rest were from silver, coal, bauxite ore and other precious metals.
