Golden Eagle secures contract for 30% of output plan

IDX-listed coal firm PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk said that about 30 percent of its 2017 coal production target of 1.4 million tons from its mines in Kalimantan and Sumatra have been contracted.

This was said by Golden Eagle President Director Roza Permana Putra on Monday. He said that the company is seeking buyers for the remaining coal output this year. He added that coal production in the first quarter of this year has been exported to Thailand, the Philippines and Hong Kong.

Director and Corporate Secretary, Chrismasari Dewi Sudono said that coal sales in the first quarter of this year reached 250,000 tons, about 200,000 tons contributed by its East Kalimantan subsidiary PT Internasional Prima Coal (IPC) and 50,000 tons by South Sumatra unit PT Triaryani. The sales volume in the first quarter of this year was lower than sales volume in the same period of last year at 285,000 tons.
