Golden Energy?s coal output up 35.42%

IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk reported last week that coal output in the first semester of this year increased by 35.42 percent to 3.67 million tons from 2.71 million in the corresponding period of last year.
Golden Energy has set coal production target of 8.8 million tons this year, higher than 6.6 million tons last year. Coal sales volume has been targeted to increase to 13 million tons from 9 million tons as the company seeks new markets particularly in the Southeast Asia region including the Philippines, Myanmar, and Vietnam.
Golden Energy through three subsidiaries including PT Borneo Indobara, PT Kuansing Inti Makmur and PT Trisula Kencana Sakti hold a combined coal concessions of 38,165 hectares spread in South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and Jambi provinces.
