Golden Nugget Exploration Inc - Re: Civil lawsuit against Pukuafu Indah and Merukh

In respect to the Company's civil lawsuit against PT Pukuafu Indah ("PI") and its principal, Jusuf Merukh ("Merukh") in the District Court of South Jakarta, Indonesia, the Company has today received from its Indonesian counsel the English translation of the main points of the Judgment that has been awarded in favour of the Company and which essentially are the following:

(1) Merukh's counter claim has been rejected; and,

(2) PI and Merukh, either jointly or severally, within eight days as of the day the judgment becomes final and legally binding, have been sentenced to pay damages to the Company in the amount of US $167,280,000 (one hundred sixty seven million and two hundred eighty thousand United States Dollars).

To date, the Company has not received the written documentation of the formal verdict of the District Court of South Jakarta, Indonesia, and unless the Company receives the written documentation of the formal verdict of the District Court of South Jakarta, Indonesia, the Company cannot give any assurances whatsoever that the Company has won its lawsuit against PI and Merukh in Indonesia.

Even if it is in fact determined that the Company has won its lawsuit against PI and Merukh in Indonesia, this matter could be dragged on for a long period of time through the appeal processes that are available in Indonesia. Furthermore, the enforceability in Indonesia of any judgments that may be granted in favor of the Company might not be possible or effective.
