Government is stepping up security measures in vital oil, gas and mining projects all over Indonesia following a bomb blasts that killed more than a hundred people in Bali Saturday night, Indonesian security czar said on Sunday.

?We have taken precautionary measures by tightening security in vital energy and mining objects in Arun, Aceh, TotalFinaElf E&P Indonesie in East Kalimantan, Caltex Pacific Indonesia in Riau and Freeport in Papua because we have reasons to believe the same terrorist is targeting those vital objects,? SCTV reported coordinating minister of security and politics Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as saying in a press briefing.

Bomb blasts that hit two discotheques in Bali Saturday night, leaving 181 died and hundreds injured. Most of the victims are foreigners with Australians topping the list. Bomb blast also hit Phillipines consulate in Manado Saturday, but no victim was reported.

Yudhoyono said the bomb incident is the solid proof that terrorist network is already in and targeting Indonesia. He, however, declined to say who is behind the brutal act.

Last month, shooting incident in Freeport?s area in Papua killed two Americans. (alex)
