Government to sell Timah

In a bid to cover for budget deficit, government plans to sell state tin miner PT Tambang Timah Tbk next year, along with several other state owned companies, according to Minister of Finance Boediono.

Boediono told reporters Friday the divestment would be conducted either through initial public offering (IPO) or selling stakes to strategic partners. (*)
