Government plans solar power plant in Banda Aceh

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources plans to develop a 1 MW solar power plant at the Nusantara Lampulo Fishing Port in Banda Aceh, Aceh.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said in a statement Sunday that construction is expected to start early 2016, hopefully to be completed during the year.
The planned power plant project comes as the government is also planning to develop the port into a large ocean port.
