Government requires PSC contractors to have import license

The Minister of Trade had issued a new regulation requiring oil and gas mining companies, which import goods, to have importer identity number (API), Bisnis Indonesia reported on Thursday.
Currently, oil and gas contractors must procure their imports using BPMIGAS API number.
The regulation stipulates that contractors could still import using BPMIGAS API number until the next two months. (*)
