Government to put on offer 10 oil, gas working areas

The government plans to soon offer 10 new oil and gas working areas to investors via regular tender or direct offer mechanism, said Djoko Siswanto, Director for Oil and Gas Upstream Management at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
Djoko said Wednesday that public announcement would be made either end June or early July once the entire documents have been completed.
Following is the list of oil and gas assets to be offered to investors for development.
Three conventional oil and gas working areas (direct offer):
1.North Jabung, onshore Riau dan Jambi
2.Southwest Bengara, Onshore East Kalimantan
3.West Berau, offshore Papua Barat
Two non-conventional oil and gas working areas (direct offer):
1. Blora Deep
2. Batu Ampar
Five conventional oil and gas working areas to be offered via regular tender:
1. Rupat, offshore Riau and North Sumatra
2. West Asri, offshore Lampung
3.Oti, offshore East Kalimantan
4.North Adang, offshore West Sulawesi
5. Kasuri II, onshore Papua.
