Govt announces new CBM tender

The Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry is offering 12 new coal bed methane (CBM) blocks in the bidding round of 2010 tender.

Five blocks are offered through regular tender and another six blocks are offered through direct offer mechanism, directorate general oil and gas at the ministry Evita Legowo said on Tuesday.

Bidding documents for directly-offered blocks can be obtained from January 10 until 23 February 2011 and bids should be submitted by February 24, 2011.

Meanwhile, companies interested in the blocks offered in regular tender can get bidding documents from January 10, 2011 until May 09, 2011 and they have to submit their bids by May 10, 2011. (godang)
