Govt announces regular tender winners

The government announced on Monday that Murphy Oil Corporation, consortium of Salamander Energy and Lundin Energy and Ephindo Oil & Gas Holding Inc.have won the tender for oil and gas blocks.

Of the 14 blocks offered through regular tender by the government in the First Round 2010 tender, only three drew bids, that is Sokang block offshore Natuna islands, South Sokang block offshore Natuna Islands and Wokam II, offshore Papua.

The signatures of the blocks are expected to be signed on Dec 10, 2010. (giok)
