Govt approves Anambas relinquishment

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has approved the relinquishment of Anambas PSC in Natuna Sea by Australian firm AWE Limited, according to an official of upstream authority SKK Migas.
SKK Migas? spokesperson Zudaldi Rafdi told petromindo.com the letter of approval from the ministry was signed on Nov. 14 last year.
AWE relinquished the block in late June of last year the expiry of its 10 year exploration period.
AWE acquired 100 percent interest in Anambas PSC from Malaysian firm Genting Berhad in 2012.
