Govt cancels C&C status of 99 mining firms

The Directorate General of Mineral and Coal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources announced on Tuesday it has canceled the ?clean and clear? (C&C) status of the IUP mining permits of 99 mining companies.
The move was made after the local regency, mayoralty or provincial administrations revoked the IUP permits of the miners due to various problems.
