Govt, contractors sign 3 new oil, gas blocks contract

The government signed on Friday three contracts with Murphy Oil Corporation, consortium of Salamander Energy and Lundin Energy and Black Platinum Investment Limited, respectively to develop the oil and gas blocks they have won in the government?s First Round 2010 regular tender for oil and gas blocks.
The three oil, gas blocks are Sokang block offshore Natuna islands, South Sokang block offshore Natuna Islands and Wokam II, offshore Papua. (godang/giok)
