Govt delays 3 CBM blocks award to next month

The government will award three coal-bed methane (CBM) blocks next month, instead of today as initially scheduled, director general of oil and gas said in Jakarta on Tuesday
Evita Legowo said that the delay was caused by an administrative problem on the two CBM blocks. The three blocks, which will be awarded next month, include two located in South Sumatra and one in Kalimantan.
The three blocks will be awarded under direct proposal mechanism to two local firms and a foreign firm, she said, without giving further details. (godang/giok)
