Govt forms BPH MIGAS members selection team

A recruitment team tasked with selecting new committee members of downstream regulatory body BPH MIGAS, whose four-year term would end in May 2011, has been formed, Chairman Tubagus Haryono said on Wednesday.
Tubagus said the team is chaired by Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The team would make public announcement on the vacancy and would pick 18 candidates whose names would be submitted to the President. President then would submit the names to the House of Representatives which would conduct fit and proper test to pick 9 committee members. He said fit and proper test would take place between December 2010 and January 2011.
Tubagus is no longer eligible as he had been in the office for two terms.(bernard)
