Govt, House agree on 2016 lifting target

The government and the House of Representatives? Commission VII, which is in charge of energy affairs, have agreed to set the oil lifting target for next year at between 800,000 and 830,000 bopd, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said in a statement on Monday.
The agreement was reached during their working meeting Monday on the basic assumptions of the 2016 state budget. Previous working meetings were held on June 9 and 11.
They agreed on the figures after ?direct discussions with 10 biggest PSC holders?, the ministry said.
Dadan Kusdiana, the ministry?s spokesman, said realized oil lifting reached 802,046 bopd in the current month and 777,347 bopd this year to date.
The meeting also agreed on the provision of subsidy for diesel oil amounting to Rp 1,000 per liter for next year.
