Govt, House agree on gas lifting target

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the House of Representatives? Commission VII, which is in charge of energy affairs, agreed on a gas lifting target for next year?s state budget at between 1.1 million and 1.3 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd).
The agreement was reached during the working meeting on Monday.
Last week, both agreed on a oil lifting target at 800,000 and 830,000 bopd.
During the meeting, both started discussion on the amount of LPG and fuel oils that will be subsidized for next year, but no agreement has been reached until the end of the meeting. Next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, according to the ministry?s spokesperson Dadan Kusdiana.
