Govt issues domestic coal allocation for 2012

The government has announced that the estimated volume of coal needed by domestic end users in 2012 is 82.07 million, which should be fulfilled under domestic market obligation (DMO) scheme.
The minimum percentage of coal sales by coal mining business entities for domestic interest in 2012 shall be 24.72%. as the total production of coal in 2012 is estimated at 332 million tonnes. The production should come from coal mining business entities comprising of 40 companies holding coal contract of works (PKP2B), 1 state-owned enterprise (BUMN) and 22 companies holding coal mining business license (IUP).
