Govt issues presidential, ministerial decrees on electricity, oil and gas

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said in press statement the issuance of the decrees is part of the government’s efforts to create a better investment climate in the power, oil and gas sector, solve problems in the sectors and enhance the readiness of the sectors for global competition.
The decrees are:
1. Presidential Decree No.76/2003 dated Sept. 30, 2003 on the amendment of Presidential Decree No.69/2002 on the selling price of power supplied by PT PLN.
2. Ministerial Decree No. 1094 dated Sept. 19, 2003 on competence training standards for technical workers in the power sector
3. Ministerial Decree No. 1095 dated Sept. 19, 2003 on the determination of status and implementation of competence training standards for technical workers in the power sector
4. Ministerial Decree No. 1065 dated Sept. 10, 2003 on the organization and working procedure of the secretariat and directorate at the agency which regulates the provision and distribution of fuel and businesses of gas delivery through pipelines
5. Ministerial Decree No. 1086 dated Sept. 15, 2003 on competence standards for technical workers in geology and mining sector
6. Ministerial Decree No. 1088 dated Sept. 17 on guidelines for the implementation, guidance, supervision, regulation and control of oil and gas upstream and downstream sectors. (*)
