Govt issues two mining regulations

The government has issued two Governmental Regulations (PP) implementing the Mineral and Coal Law No. 4/2009, an official at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said on Thursday.
The government planned to issue four governmental regulations to implement the law. Two of them are still in the drafting process, according to Sutisna Prawira, the ministry's legal and public relations head.
The two regulations are respectively titled Governmental Regulation on Mining Area and Governmental Regulation on the Implementation of Mineral and Coal Mining Business Activities. (Godang)
