Govt may eliminate Pertamina, PLN vice president director positions

Government is mulling to eliminate Vice President Director position at oil, gas firm PT Pertamina and electricity firm PT PLN, Investor Daily reported on Monday.

Minister of State Enterprises Mustafa Abubakar said that his ministry together with Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Minsitry of Finance are currently studying the options.

Currently Omar Sjawaldi Anwar holds the vice president director at Pertamina and Rudiantara hold similar position at PLN.

Government is currently scouting for candidates to fill vacant commissioners and directors positions at Pertamina and is also in the process of replacing PLN CEO Fahmi Mochtar. (*)
