Govt, NAA to meet today to finalize Inalum transfer

Minister of Industry MS Hidayat said that the government is scheduled to hold a final negotiation meeting today with the Nippon Asahan Aluminium (NAA) consortium over the transfer of the giant aluminum smelter PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum (Inalum) to the government.

Hidayat said that the meeting would be held at his office to be attended by the finance minister, the finance and development supervisory agency (BPKP), and officials of NAA.

?Tomorrow we will meet with NAA, hopefully it will be final,? he said on Wednesday. The minister said that the government suggested the termination day (signing of the termination) in Indonesia before December 12.
