Govt offers 14 conventional blocks

The 14 oil and gas blocks consist of seven offered through Direct Offer mechanism and seven through Regular Tender mechanism.
In order to attract investors, the ministry has introduced a new scheme in the tender round, namely ?open bid split?. In addition, investors are allowed to propose the amount of signature bonus and production split they want. Tender winners will be chosen from among those who offer the best proposals in terms of firm exploration commitment, signature bonus, and production split, in view of owner estimates ? that is the economic viability set in terms and conditions set by the government.
