Govt offers four additional oil, gas blocks for tender

The government announced four additional oil and gas blocks for tender by the end of this month, making the , total number of the blocks offered at this round to 25.
Upstream director at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, R. Priyono said that the four blocks are Palung Aru 1 block (offshore) in Aru island, Palung Aru 2 block (offshore) in Aru island, Mahakam Hilir block (onshore) in East Kalimantan and North Bali 3 block (offshore) in Bali.
The four additional blocks would be tendered through direct offer mechanism, he said. (godang/bernard)
