The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is planning to build new city gas network for a total of 200,000 households in a number of cities in 2017.
"The process of the development of city gas network is now running smoothly. This year we've been building it for 89,000 households. For next year, it has been proposed for 200,000 households," Director General of Oil and Gas at the ministry IGN Wiratmaja Puja said Friday in Jakarta.
Wiratmaja said, the support of local governments is crucial in developing the planned city gas network for 200,000 households with estimated investment of Rp 3 trillion.
