Govt prepares new regulation on oil, gas contract extension

The government is preparing a new regulation on the extension of oil and gas contract to help avoid the reoccurrence of recent polemic over the extension of the contract of West Madura Offshore block, said Director General of Oil and Gas Evita Legowo on Tuesday.

She declined to provide details as the government is still finalizing the new regulation.(*)
