Govt seeks to increase quota of subsidized fuel

The government has sent a letter to the House of Representatives seeking approval to increase the supply of subsidized fuel products this year due to stronger demand.
?The government has sent a letter to the House of Representatives seeking extra quota of subsidized fuel. We?re now waiting for the House?s response,? Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Rudi Rubiandini told Petromindo.com Wednesday.
He did not provide details.
Meanwhile, Director General of Oil and Gas Evita Legowo said that the government was seeking to increase this year?s quota of subsidized fuel products to 44 million kiloliters from the original quota of 40 million kiloliters.
