Govt sends team to study gold potential in North Tapanuli

The Ministry of Mines and Energy has sent its staffs to North Tapanuli regency in North Sumatra province to study gold potential in the Onan Ganjang, Pakkat, and Parlilitan areas.

The Medan-based SIB daily quoted North Tapanuli senior administration official Hidupan Simanungkalit as saying that the team had arrived since last month.

He expected the team to prove that there's really gold in the areas. (*)
