The paper did not provide details whether the fund was part of the government's earnings from the operation of copper and gold mining company PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara in Sumbawa regency.

Muchdi said during the visit, the councilors were also informed that Newmont would pay $384,338.57 in copper royalty, $32,480.85 in gold royalty and $1,451.97 in silver royalty to the government this year but he did not provide details the amount of royalties to be received by the West Nusa Tengagara province.
