Govt to give priority to oil, gas firms to develop CBM

The government will issue a decree that will give priority for oil and gas companies to develop coal bed methane (CBM) resources in case their concessions overlap those of mining companies.

?This is because CBM falls under the oil and gas law,? Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro said on Tuesday.

?The decree will be issued soon,? he said. (Alex)
