Govt to install Pertamina new directors

Government will replace three of Pertamina directors in a bid to improve the state oil, gas company performance.

Said Didu, Secretary at the Ministry of State Enterprises confirmed that the new directors would be inducted on Wednesday afternoon at the Ministry?s building compound.

He did not disclose the names of the new directors. Rumors circulated among the industry players said that CEO Ari Soemarno, along with Vice CEO Iin Arifin Takhyan, CFO Frederick Siahaan and Marketing Director Ahmad Faisal will retain their positions. Upstream Director Sukusen Soemarinda is said to be replaced by Karen Agustiawan, an expert staff of CEO, while Processing Director Soeroso Atmomartoyo will be replaced by Rukmi Hadi Hartini, a senior official at Pertamina. HR and GA Director Sumarsono will be replaced by Waluyo, a former executive at oil company, who later became deputy chief of Corruption Eradication Body KPK. (godang)
