Govt to open new round of exploration blocks tender November

Government will open new bidding round for 10 explorations blocks through regular tender and another 18 through special bidding in November, Director general of oil and gas Iin Arifin Takhyan said Friday.
Iin did not give specific details about the blocks? location.
The government is currently offering 14 new blocks through regular bidding with oil majors such as ConocoPhillips and Chevron is reportedly taking part. Bid submission would be closed in November and winners would be announced in December. (godang)
