Govt to open tender for Cirebon coal-fired power plant this month

The government will open tender to build a 600-megawatt coal-fired power plant in Cirebon, West Java, this month, a director general at Ministry of Energy said Wednesday.
?We hope the pre-qualification for the Cilegon power plant could be start this month,? said Director General of Electricity and Energy Utilization Yogo Pratomo.
Yogo said the proposed power plant is expected to begin operation by 2010. (godang)
