Govt to tender 2010-2025 gas pipelines

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources will soon auction contracts to develop gas pipelines across the country which are scheduled to be completed through 2025, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Monday.
Under the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources decree signed on Jan. 27, 2010, the pipeline projects are divided into several categories, that is ?open access?, upstream, downstream, own-interest and city gas pipeline projects.
?As far as the open access (pipeline project) is concerned, the tender will be held by BPH Migas soon,? the ministry?s Director Genera of Oil and Gas Evita Herawati Legowo was quoted by the newspaper as saying over the weekend.
?Open-access? pipelines are defined as those which ca be accessed by all interested parties.
Under the 2010 ministerial decree, the open access pipeline projects that will be developed from 2010 through 2025 include:
1. Natuna D-Alpha-Batam-Duri transmission pipeline, 740 km, 1,000 MMCFD, gas from the Natuna D-Alpha block
2. Batusangkar-Cerinti-Batam pipeline, 162 km, gas from Southwest Bukit Barisan (PT Radyan Bukit Barisan), South CPP (Runhill Permai Energi), Link II (PT Karya Inti Petroleum), South & Central Sumatra (Medco) and MFK (Chevron) and Musi-Pagardewa).
3. South Sumtatra-West Java (SSWJ)-Aurcina-Sekayu-Kotabumi-Cilegon pipeline, gas from Batu Gajah block (Runhill Jambi), Tungkal (Pearl Oil), South East Tungkal (Gujarat State Petroleum), Merangin I (Medco), Merangin II (Seteraya), Meruap (Pertamina), Sekayu (Star Energy), Pendopo & Raja (JOB Pertamina-Golden Spike), Sumbangsel Area II (Pertamina) and West Air Komering (PT Tiara Bumi Petroleum).
4. Natuna D-Alpha-West Kalimantan pipeline, gas from Natuna D-Alpha block.
5. Banjarmasin-Palangkaraya-Pontianak pipeline, 755 km, 300 MMCFD, gas from Chevron, Total EP Indonesia and others.
6. East Natuna-Malaysia pipeline, 614 km, 600 MMCFD, gas from East Natuna block
7. Natuna-Batam pipeline, gas from Natuna D-Alpha block
8. Donggi-Pomalaa, 580 km, 200 MMCFD, gas from Donggi block
9. Sengkang-Pare-Pare-Makassar, 274 km, 63-88 MMCFD gas from Sengkang block
10. Tambun-Cikarang pipeline
11. Terang Sirasun-Pagerungan pipeline. (*)
