GR Engineering gets EPCM contract for Wetar Copper project

ASX-listed GR Engineering Services Limited announced on Monday that it has been awarded a contract by PT Batutua Tembaga Raya, a subsidiary of Finders Resources Limited for the provision of engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for the Wetar Copper Project expansion (Project) on Wetar Island in Maluku.
Work under the contract involves the provision of EPCM services for the process engineering design, procurement and construction management of a 25,000 tpa processing plant and associated infrastructure for the project. GR Engineering will commence work immediately, with the services expected to be completed early in the second half of fiscal year 2016. The contract sum is approximately US$8.8 million (A$10.3 million).
