Green Energy plans geothermal project in Aceh

London-based Green Energy Geothermal (GEG) is looking to team up with Perusahaan Daerah Pembangunan Aceh (PDPA), a company owned by the Aceh provincial administration, to develop a geothermal power plant project in the province.
Top officials of GEG met on Thursday with the Aceh provincial administration including Governor Zaini Abdullah to further discuss the planned investment, Harianaceh.co.id reported.
GEG plans to develop the Gunung Geureudong geothermal working area which spans the Aceh Utara, Bener Meriah and Aceh Tengah regencies. No further details about the project were provided. (*)
