Groundbreaking for Donggi gas plant held on Thursday

PT Pertamina EP, an upstream subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, held on Thursday the groundbreaking ceremony for the Donggi Central Processing Plant (CPP) in Banggai, Central Sulawesi.
The gas from the CPP will be channeled to the Donggi Senoro LNG plant which is now under construction.
?The groundbreaking for the Donggi CPP is held on Thursday. We have appointed Rekin (state owned engineering firm PT Rekayasa Industri) to perform the EPC works with a work period of 26 months. The facility is targeted to come onstream in 2015,? Agus Amperianto, PEP?s spokesman, told Petromindo, adding the facility will have a capacity of 50-60 mmscfd of gas.
Agus explained PEP will also build a similar facility for Matindok field with a capacity of 55-60 mmscfd.
Once both facilities have been completed, the Donggi and Matindok gas field will supply a total of 110 mmscfd of gas to the Donggi Senoro LNG plant.
