GSI: Progress of seismic survey in SWWB block reaches 30%

Progress of 2D and 3D seismic survey at the South West Bukit Barisan (SWBB) block in West Sumatra carried out by seismic services company PT Gelombang Seismic Indonesia (GSI) has reached 30 percent.

?Currently, GSI only conducts 2D and 3D seismic survey in Sijunjung Regency, South Sumatra Province. The progress so far only 30 percent. Hopefully, it could be completed in December, before Christmas,? GSI Operational Director, Barita Sihombing to Petromindo.com on Friday.

Barita said that business is currently slowing down due to drastic reduction in exploration activities.

The SWBB block is 100 percent owned and operated by PT Rizki Bukit Barisan Energi.
