GSS proposes drilling of second exploration well in W. Jambi block

SGX-listed GSS Energy Limited said on Monday it is currently in talks with Ramba Energy West Jambi Limited, operator of the West Jambi KSO block in Sumatra, for possible drilling of second exploration well in the block.

?We are in discussion with the operator, Ramba Energy West Jambi Limited, to explore the drilling of the second exploration well,? GSS said in a statement.

GSS entered into an Investment Agreement in 2015 with SGX-listed Ramba Energy to conduct oil and gas exploration in the West Jambi Block.

GSS said that RISC Operations Pte Ltd, an international consultancy firm, has identified the block to contain approximately 426 million barrels of potential oil reserves.
