State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) and state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina has finalized all terms and conditions for the Gas Transport Agreement (GTA) for gas from Arun, except for the price.
?The GTA has basically been finalized, except for the price. We are waiting for the price proposal from Pertamina,? PLN?s Gas and Oil Fuel Division Suryadi Mardjoeki told Petromindo.com on Thursday.
Pertamina is building a pipeline from Arun LNG plant in Aceh to the power plant owned by PLN in Belawan, North Sumatra. The gas will be supplied by the Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua in the form of LNG. The LNG will be regassified at Arun before being transported via pipeline to PLTGU Belawan. PLN will pay Tangguh for the LNG and Pertamina for transportation of the gas.
Suryadi said the Arun-Belawan pipeline will transmit 105 bbtud in the beginning and the volume will be increased by around 50 bbtud in 2017.
