Gulf top officials from Canada visit Muba regency

Two top officials of Canada-based oil and gas company Gulf Canada Resources including executive vice president Henry Sykes and senior vice president Ron McIntosh visited on Tuesday the company's operation in the Musi Banyuasin (Muba) regency in South Sumatra.
The local Sumatra Express daily reported that the two senior officials, accompanied by four officials from Jakarta, also met with Muba Regent Natom Nurnawi, as well as other officials of the local administration, and local top legislators as well as local military commander.
The paper said that the company agreed to provide financing for the development of streetlights and road repair. The company would also provide financing for a local high school.(*)
