Gunanusa completes construction of three offshore oil platforms

PT Gunanusa Utama has completed the construction of three offshore oil platforms ordered by Indian, Thai and Indonesian companies with combined contract value of about US$650 million.
The company?s president director Samad Solbai said that the offshore platforms which were built in Cilegon, Banten, would be operated respectively at the Mumbai High sea, India, at the Siam Gulf, Thailand and at the Ujung Pangkah, Java Sea.
He said the platform which would be soon shipped to India is worth $330 million, while the other two which would be delivered to Thailand and East Java are worth $180 million and $130 million, respectively. (*)
