Gunanusa Utama picks the Sea Horizon for Total?s project in Kalimantan

U.S. marine construction firm Horizon Offshore Inc said on late Tuesday PT. Gunanusa Utama Fabricators recently awarded its subsidiary, PT. Horizon Offshore Indonesia, a subcontract to perform offshore construction services in connection with a project for TotalFinaElf in East Kalimantan.

The contract will include project management, pre- and post-lay surveys and the installation and burial of a twenty-inch pipeline offshore Balikpapan, Horizon said in a statement.

The combination derrick-lay barge Sea Horizon will perform all aspects of the installation, including the burial, Horizon added.

PT Gunanusa is Indonesian company specialized in offshore platforms construction services. (robert)
