Gunung Bara may delay commercial production to mid 2013

Coal miner PT Gunung Bara Utama (GBU) may delay the planned commercial production of its mine in West Kutai, East Kalimantan to mid year of 2013 from the previous target of early 2013, a source told Petromindo.com.

?We are currently focusing in developing bridge,? the source said, adding that the bridge is being developed by PT WIKA.

The company targets to produce 1.5 million tons in the first year, and to ramp up to 4.5 million tons in the second year and 7 million tons in the third year.

GBU has about 100 million tons resources with CV of 5,000-5,2000 kcal/kg (GAR).
