Gunung Bara names Prima Sarana as one of its contractors

Coal miner PT Gunung Bara Utama (GBU) has named PT Prima Sarana Gemilang (PSG), a subsidiary of Indomobil Group as one of the contractors to develop its mine in West Kutai, East Kalimantan, industrial sources told Petromindo.com.
Under the deal, PSG will produce about 1 million tons per year of coal and will be increase along the increase of GBU?s production.
GBU is expecting to start commercial production in mid year of 2013 from the previous target of early 2013, a source told Petromindo.com in October.
?We are currently focusing in developing bridge,? the source said, adding that the bridge is being developed by PT WIKA. The company targets to produce 1.5 million tons in the first year, and to ramp up to 4.5 million tons in the second year and 7 million tons in the third year.
Coal hauling road is about 60 Km to Port on Mahakam river. GBU has about 100 million tons resources with CV of 5,000-5,200 kcal/kg (GAR).
