Gunung Bara to start commercial production in 2013

Coal miner PT Gunung Bara Utama said that the company would start commercial production from its mining concession in West Kutai, East Kalimantan, in early 2013 with an expected output of 1.5 million tons.
?We hope to start the first production in January 2013 with total output of 1.5 million tons,? a source at the company told Petromindo.com.
The company's concession covers an area of 5,300 hectares with coal reserves having calorific value of 5,700 kcal/kg.
?The ongoing construction of infrastructure should be completed in the third quarter of this year,? the source said.
