The company declared force majeure on coal supplies to customers because transportation was hampered by heavy flooding.
“We lifted the force majeure declaration yesterday (Wednesday). Gradually, condition is gradually back to normal,” company commissioner Michael Sumardjanto said on Thursday.
He said the company had notified its customers as well as the Ministry of Enegy and Mineral Resources on the move.
The company, which exports its coal to Europe, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia, is targeting to produce around 6 million tonnes of coal in 2007. (godang)
