Halliburton unit posts Q3 project losses in Algeria, Indonesia

US oil services company Halliburton said on Monday its engineering and construction unit KBR posted US$ 59 million project losses in the third quarter 2005 on two projects: a gas processing plant in Algeria and a floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel project in Indonesia.

The company in its third quarter release did not give any detail but the company had built an FPSO vessel for ConocoPhillips to be used in Belanak oil, gas fields offshore Natuna.(alex)
